About

An independent practice built around one discipline

Anco Advisory independently verifies whether the systems, behaviour and numbers underneath a growth plan support it: before you commit capital, a raise or a hire, while the plan runs, and before someone else tests it.

We do one thing: independent verification of the commercial engine behind the number. Not strategy advice, not a market study, not a restatement of the plan. We purposely do not cross-sell services. We do not diagnose problems that we conveniently fix.

You are experts in your field, we're experts in ours. We are Operators, not Consultants. Our team has worked across every role in a sales organisation, from SDR to VP, at some of the world's most successful SaaS companies, including publicly traded market leaders, as well as venture backed companies from Series A through Series E. We've carried the bag. We have actually done the work and we know what good looks like, and just as importantly we know when it doesn't look right. This is what sets us apart from the big consultancies: we intimately understand  the pressure of each role, and its nuance. We know where numbers get flattered, where risk goes unseen and how a process can look healthier than it is. That perspective is why we look at systems and behaviour first: the places where a revenue miss becomes visible months before it reaches a board pack.

The same verification applies across the lifecycle: ahead of capital commitment, through the plan, at exit or raise, and around every senior commercial hire. The method and the findings are the same whoever commissions the work.

Common questions

Practical questions

Do you only work pre-deal?
No. Most engagements happen during the plan: verifying in-flight performance, assessing leadership fit, or validating readiness ahead of a senior hire or a raise.
Who commissions an audit, and does that change the findings?
Investors, founders and GTM leaders all commission it. The method, scoring rules and evidence standards are identical, so the findings are the same either way.
How long does an engagement take?
Typically three to four weeks, depending on the trigger and the depth required.
What access do you need?
CRM and forecast history, pipeline snapshots, compensation plans, org structure and structured interviews. Evidence that can't be produced is recorded as a finding, not skipped.
How is this different from commercial due diligence?
Commercial due diligence typically tests the market and the proposition. We test the engine that has to execute: systems, behaviour and outcomes. Pre-deal validation is one application of the same method.
Do you fix what you find?
No. You receive a sequenced 30/60/90-day roadmap. We don't sell implementation, so we have no interest in what the findings say.
